Surgery tomorrow

Hi everyone.

As is obvious, I haven't kept up with the blog for weeks and weeks. We've been gradually returning to "normal life" -- or at least some new normal. Often as two steps forward, one step back, but hey, that's still progress.

Tomorrow is one step back, then two steps forward: she's undergoing surgery to remove the tissue expanders, and the intravenous port, and having the regular silicone implants. It's a 2 hour, general anesthesia procedure, but better than the last one for sure.

I will update the blog tomorrow re: her status, though the surgery itself isn't until late morning, so don't be alarmed if there's no update until later in the afternoon.
